More.... Ford Escape, The Smart Choice. Opinions Are In! It's no big surprise that I'm an Escape fan. Admittedly, my first few months with my Escape were a challenge. I doubted whether it was the best of choices, solely based on the fact that I had again entered into debt. Nevertheless, it became clear a year ago that the Escape was worth ever penny I spent and still I am impressed. Sometimes to the point of overjoy and sometimes to the point of tears. The Escape provides sure footed traction in most conditions that other vehicles would fear to tread. Miles Per Tank Of Gas ???

I can get from 250 to about 300 miles depending on driving conditions with the V6. That is, if I fill up the whole tank and I don't have a hole in it. With these things, the weight of your foot and driving style seems to make a big difference. One side note... 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid Orders !!

Breaking News: Ford also announced that it is expanding its commitment to biofuels by adding three additional vehicles to its E85-capable flexible fuel line-up for 2009 - the E-Series van, as well as the standard and extended-length models of the Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs. These additional product actions are part of Ford's sustainability strategy, which also includes high-volume introductions of EcoBoost gas turbocharged direct injection engines. Zaino'ed My ESCAPE !!!

Well this long weekend I did it! I place an order for one of Zaino Bros Starter wax kit. I read everything that came with the kit before I went to work on my baby. I use Dawn Ultra Concentrated to remove the wax on my escape... How To Take Off Liftgate Cover? -ikaika Can anyone tell me how to take off the cover on the inside of the rear liftgate? I still have to Dynamat Xtreme it and would just like to know how easy/hard it is before I do it. I dont want to break any fasteners you know what I mean? I broke some of the fasteners for the front dorrs and when I went to the Ford dealer for replacements, they wanted... RjTribute: And while some good samaritan is spelling out clear instructions for ikaika re. removing the cover on the inside of the rear liftgate, would they please spell out exactly how to remove the rear bumper. My Tribute suffered a small altercation with a car park garden edging rock when I was backing out from a resort car park after only one glass on wine! Damage is not extensive, and a new bumper costs $625 (Australian) - before fitting I can get the dint taken out for $80 if I get it off and take it to a guy who does plastic repairs and welding. He reckons it could even be sprayed for about $125. Let me think ... what would I rather pay?? On the other hand I would hate to do real damage by...
